Meet your Osteo
Hi, I’m David Good, your local South Wairarapa Osteopath. I live in Featherston with my partner and our young daughter, and I’m excited to be offering osteopathic care to the community I call home.
I hold a Master of Osteopathy from Unitec in Auckland and, over the past five years, have worked across the Auckland, Whangārei, and Wellington regions. My goal has always been to work closer to home, and I’m proud to now be supporting the health and wellbeing of people in the South Wairarapa.
Alongside my osteopathic training, I’m a lifelong martial arts enthusiast and hold a 2nd degree Black Belt in Kung Fu and have dabbled in a range of other martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai. This background has given me a deep appreciation for movement and body mechanics, which strongly influences my approach to treatment. I’ve also worked with regional and provincial rugby and football teams, giving me hands-on experience in managing acute sports injuries and supporting active individuals, including athletes and adolescents.
My treatment philosophy is simple: every person is unique, and healing works best when it’s a collaborative, compassionate process. I take time to listen carefully, tailoring each session to suit my clients’ needs and goals—whether that’s returning to sport, managing a long-term condition or injury, or simply moving more comfortably day-to-day.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me enjoying time with my family, planning my next fishing or diving adventure, or curating my next DJ set.
